The 2012 models for 7 seat vehicles are coming out and Acura is looking to keep on making a splash with its MDX. The 7 seater SUV features a number of points that the car company is looking to continue on developing the vehicle.

Fuel is a Consideration
The problem with many 7 seat vehicles is that they tend to deal with too much gas. This is not the case with the MDX. It has a top rating for SUVs that seat 7. The vehicle can handle 21 mpg on the highway. This works on a tank that can handle 21 gallons of fuel.
Also, the car has a 300 hp V6 engine. This engine works with VTEC technology. It gets intake valves to be opened up at different depths and times when certain rpm levels are reached.
What About the Seats?
The 2012 MDX has some of the most comfortable rows of seating among 7 seater cars. There are two front bucket seats that feature at least eight adjustable functions and can recall the user’s preferred adjustments.
The second row of seats features three seats in a bench design. The right passenger seat in this 7 seat SUV can be tilted and moved forward to get into the third row with ease. An optional entertainment package can provide these seats with special television screens. The center seat can also be used with a large armrest with retractable cup holders when no one is in the middle seat.
The third row of this 7 seat SUV has two seats. These both have individual cup holders and storage compartments that work on the back of the second row seats in front of them.

There are a few other items to see in this 7 seater SUV. A rearview camera works on the outside of the car to view what is directly behind a user with accuracy. It also works with a 170 degree angle. Xenon lights are also used to help create bright lights on the outside without too much energy. These use special lenses that will create accurate beams of light without blinding anyone who passes by this 7 seater car.
Entertainment for All
The entertainment functions in this car make the 2012 MDX useful for all seven people who can fit in it. It has many options among vehicles that seat 7 in that it has a full audio system with an MP3 and WMA-compatible CD changer. It also offers support for satellite radio signals. The AcuraLink navigation system and traffic report system can be added but it needs a subscription.
What’s the Value?
This can be found at a value of around $43,000. This is high but it is a sensible price among other vehicles that seat 7 or more. Some versions that can handle more functions can cost at least $50,000 in get in many cases.
