Buick has been providing affordable cars for over 110 years, and one of the newest models is its 5 seater 2012 Buick Regal GS. Test Drive one of these sporty mid-sized cars and consumers will find that Buick has come up with a winning formula. The redesigned chassis is solid and the 2.4 liter, four cylinder engine is designed with a direct injection turbo that provides a 270 horsepower engine. It’s rated at 19 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway, and all with a six speed manual transmission with a front wheel drive train.
Consumers who take a test drive will find some great surprises with this Buick Regal GS in the acceleration time in which this car hauls from zero to 70 mph in 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 142 mph. The anti-lock breaking system on all four wheels on this model is designed to come to a complete stop from 70 mph to zero in 160 feet, and with a 300 foot dia skidpad rating of .90g, this model has excellent performance with barely a dip or roll.
Here’s a small test drive review of this car:
Test drivers will find that the steering on this 5 seater car takes little more than a slight shift, and this model is extremely responsive and react quite well even when approaching the grip limit. Some consumers will find they would like a little more engine noise with such a sporty look, but this one has even less engine noise than one would expect. The shifter is firm but moves easily through the gears and because it is so responsive, this one of the best five seater SUV is a pleasure to drive.
Once the drivers get past the performance and begin to look at the redesigned interior of this model, along with some of the added details, they will find some intriguing new designs. The front seats are very comfortable and provide lateral support and because of the traditional suspension of the classic Buick, the driver and the passengers feel like they are simply floating over the road. Drop the suspension setting to the firmer, sporty “GS” setting and the feel of the road excitement comes to life again.
This 5 seater car is designed for five passengers that are seated comfortably between the driver and passenger in the front and three passengers in the back seat. It’s comfortable and provides leg room and adequate head room for nearly everyone. Some of the extras the come with this model include an AM/FM/XM audio system with a CD and MP3 player with a 3.5mm input jack, and the seven speakers provide great audio. It also includes Sirius SM Satellite Radio that offer more than 170 channels that are constant music, sports, and talk radio that are free of commercials. In addition, it provides connectivity via Bluetooth for cell phone connectivity through the audio system.
When Buick introduced this redesigned, sporty Regal GS, it’s rapidly becoming one of the most popular models that Buick has produced. Take it for a test drive and enjoy the great handling and comfort.
